The “App” age
With the advent of iphones and android based mobile phones has come what we call as “An Era of Apps”. Apps have many advantages over traditional web pages. From entertainment to health to banking, apps exist for almost everything today. Apps can be easily downloaded from app stores like Google Play, Apple’s App Store and Windows Phone Store.
In India alone, apps have become an integral part of people’s lives. It has made life much easier & simpler. As a part of “Digital India” initiative, internet would be made accessible to more and more Indians which will further increase the popularity of apps. One such example is the UMANG app. The Narendra Modi Government is all set to launch this new app called UMANG. This app aims to provide 200 central, state & local government services through a single platform. Services include passport services, income tax filing, railway ticket booking etc.
Furthermore, more and more modern business owners are investing in apps. There is pressure for businesses to create apps.
From Government to business owners to common people, mobile apps are universal and this mobile app revolution is here to stay!
